Do you have a passion for innovation and a drive to create exceptional solutions? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Team Lead / Coach (OT Development) to become an integral part of our dynamic team in Swindon.
Who We Are and What We Do
We create, licence, manufacture, sell and provide services for technologies which:
- Control and monitor high voltages and power (11 kV to 400 kV and up to 1000 MVA); and
- Are fitted in electricity substations, on overhead power lines, and in control centres.
We call this Total Voltage Control.

Salary will be dependent on experience and the role.
Purpose of the role:
guiding, mentoring, and supporting our development teams to achieve their highest potential.
As Team Lead / Coach you would be spending most of your time:
- Facilitate the team’s progress towards team goals.
- Adopting the appropriate leadership style for the maturity of the team, within the scale from being directive to coaching, to achieve required business outcomes
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align expectations and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other team coaches and stakeholders to align team goals with organizational objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment.
- Facilitate decision-making processes and conflict resolution.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to enhance their performance, development, and work satisfaction.
- Lead by example to instil Agile principles and a growth mindset in the team.
Team Lead / Coach requirements:
- Experience with software and hardware development practices and tools.
- Proven experience as a team coach or scrum master, working with cross-functional teams, and desirable to have appropriate certification.
- Strong knowledge of agile principles and practices and the flexibility to adapt your experience to new and changing environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and facilitation abilities.
